Peel the potatoes and slice them into 0.5 cm (1/4 inch) thick sticks. Rinse in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain well and pat completely dry.

In a large bowl, toss the dried potato sticks with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F), then place the seasoned sticks in a single layer in the basket without overcrowding. Cook in batches if necessary.
